Return Policy

At Studio Perfectly Imperfect, we take pride in delivering high-quality, handcrafted products. However, in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, we are happy to assist you with a return or replacement, subject to the following terms:


1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are only accepted for manufacturing or workmanship defects.
  • Customers must notify us of the issue within 2 days of product delivery.
  • To initiate a return, customers must:
    • Email us at customer@studioperfectlyimperfect.com with the subject line “Return Request: [Order Number]”.
    • Include clear photographs of the defect.
    • Attach an unpacking video that clearly shows the product as it was received.

2. Return Process

  1. Notification & Approval:
    • Once we receive your email with the required details, we will review the case.
    • If the defect is determined to be valid, we will approve the return via email.
  2. Shipping the Product Back:
    • After approval, the defective product must be shipped by the customer to the following address:Studio Perfectly Imperfect

    • The product must be packed securely to avoid damage during return transit.
  3. Assessment of Defect:
    • Upon receiving the returned product, we will inspect it to confirm whether the defect is due to workmanship or manufacturing.

3. Resolution Options

If the defect is verified:

  • We will either:
    • Replace the product with the same or similar item. OR
    • Offer a voucher of the same value if replacement is not feasible due to any reason (e.g., limited stock, shipping restrictions).

If the defect is not genuine or the product is:

  • Damaged during return transit due to improper packaging, OR
  • Found not to have a manufacturing or workmanship defect,

Studio Perfectly Imperfect reserves the right to:

  • Discard the product, and
  • Communicate the decision to the customer via email.

4. Important Notes

  • Returns must be initiated within 2 days of delivery. Late notifications will not be accepted.
  • An unpacking video is mandatory to validate claims of manufacturing defects.
  • Shipping costs for the return will be borne by the customer.

Overview

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
